Philly’s own Emanuel X returns with a video for his September record release for “Echoes.”
Produced by Philadelphia production duo Razor Boomarang, the song samples Beyonce – Me, Myself, and I.
The sample creates the perfect canvas for Emanuel to spit some real bars over, that all listeners will be able to relate to. From finding out a former girlfriend is now pregnant and having a baby, to a childhood friend had a kid of his own, the song puts everything in perspective for the young artist as so many changes around him. Included is a voicemail from Emanuel’s mother at the end of the song with some words of wisdom she left him to leave listeners motivated and inspired.
