NIIA AND JAZMINE SULLIVAN RELEASE "SIDELINE" VIDEO; DEBUT ALBUM OUT TODAY ON ATLANTIC RECORDS

unnamed(3)

LA-based future-jazz vocalist & classically trained pianist NIIA has released her debut album, I, today via Atlantic Records. Produced by longtime collaborator and Grammy-nominated producer Robin Hannibal (Rhye, Quadron, Kendrick Lamar, Chairlift, THE INTERNET), the album features NIIA's signature smokey-smooth vocals and Braun's lush orchestration, classic production with modern electronic elements and an homage to classic jazz, blues and pop influences woven throughout. Garnering early support from Zane Lowe at Beats 1 and Jason Bentley at KCRW, "Nobody," "Sideline" & "Girl Like Me" from the album have made their way onto Spotify's New Music Friday playlist while the Jazmine Sullivan remix of "Sideline" appears today on Apple Music's Best Of The Week playlist. The album has earned early praise from the Los Angeles Times, THE FADER, Complex, NYLON Magazine, Harper's Bazaar, High Snobiety, XXL, Genius, Bullett Media, W Magazine and many more.
