HypeCity made a stop by Breakfast with Barz at The Lounge in Philadelphia, PA to enjoy some fire bars and bacon.
The live hip hop showcase was presented by Trenton Emcee Kilogram (@kilogram3) and his Chain of Command label, along with Money Miz (@therealmoneymiz) and Money Miz Entertainment.
Kilogram brought out guest Judges Capone, formerly one half of legendary hip hop duo Capone n’ Noreaga, Philly's own Peedi Crakk of State Property, and Mike Turk aka "Hip Hop Mike" from Hot 97 (@HipHopMike).
The showcase featured performances by talented emcees from New Jersey and Philadelphia, each of whom performed one or two of their best records to prove they were the best of the best when it comes to the bars.
At the end of the night, the man of the hour was Trenton, NJ artist Bangout aka B.O.R.N. He performed some of his latest heat and was declared the official winner of Breakfast with Barz, receiving the trophy from Kilogram himself.
It was a great night for hip hop.
