Terrace Martin Releases Short Film “Velvet Portrait”
Multi-instrumentalist, Terrace Martin captures disorienting heartache in his short film, "Velvet Portrait," as premiered exclusively by The FADER. Seen as the antithesis to Get Out, cinematic vignettes perfectly capture a man's pain after his love has gone awry. As he roams the streets haunted by old memories and photographs, Martin's evocative tracks follow the troubled lover as he struggles to carve out a new path under the night sky.
Terrace told FADER, "I've always looked at music as being the soundtrack to life. Music makes you love — it's so healing, yet it also has the power to shift you to a dark side as well..."
