America's new favorite rap group, Migos, released their sophomore album C U L T U R E on Quality Control Music / 300 Entertainment on Friday, January 27th in the middle of trail-blazing through the US on a rigorous promo run including their television debut on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and riding a seismic wave of momentum from their massive hit "Bad and Boujee" feat. Lil Uzi Vert.
In its first week C U L T U R E officially debuts at #1 on Billboard's Top 200 Chart with over 131,000 units including 116 million paid streams which marks the single largest first-week album streaming debut by an independent artist in Soundscan history to date. The album was released to rave reviews and named Best New Music by Pitchfork (8.1 score) and Rolling Stone calling it "A taut, infectious, reliable, no-bullshit collection of 12 songs, almost all of which could be singles."
CEO of Quality Control Music, Pee, adds "We've been building this from the ground up independently and it's amazing to feel the amount of support from the fans and the just due credit across the board."
C U L T U R E comes on the heels of "Bad and Boujee"'s success as the single currently ascends to #1 position at Urban Radio passing Drake's, "Fake Love". The single is also Top 5 at Rhythm Radio, and has been added to over 50 pop stations respectively.
300 co-founder and KWL owner Kevin Liles comments, "This is the first time that both Migos, Quality Control and 300 Entertainment have earned a number one spot on the Billboard Top 200 and we are so proud of our artists for crafting not only a brilliant album, but also an undeniable movement... Culture."

Migos also announce they will be performing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show as musical guests on Wednesday, February 15th with a special performance of "Bad and Boujee." This performance follows an appearance at New York Fashion Week for Fendi on February 10th, a second show at the Novo by Microsoft in Los Angeles on February 11th, and the Observatory in Santa Ana on February 13th. Be sure to check the album that has made history and don't miss Migos' upcoming performances as they spread C U L T U R E worldwide.

More press on C U L T U R E:

"Culture is a victory lap for a group that spent years grinding their way to the top. But don't think for one second they'll be resting at the finish line." - BILLBOARD

"On Culture, their world is richly rendered, full of hopes and paranoia and unbridled joy. This gives the Migos the last laugh on those who thought they'd never crack the retail album format, marked all the while by the knowledge they never needed one to succeed. It's a definitive work." - PITCHFORK

"Migos have ascended higher than ever before on Culture" - XXL

"Culture is less of the crotch-grabbing titular reach typical of rising rap stars and more of an absolute truth." - CONSEQUENCE OF SOUND

"there are plenty of moments on Culture when the group's larger-than-life aura manifests itself in sound alone." - SPIN
