Los Angeles, CA – Friday, January 20th, 2017 – In the game perspective is everything, and today Akron-born emcee Swoope delivers us an homage to small beginnings and purpose in juxtaposed endings. In the HipHopDX-premiered video, “Money can’t buy happiness, but I wouldn’t mind crying in a lambo…” rings off as Swoope’s self-produced synth-filled cadence envelopes an all too familiar sample.
When asked about what drives him, Swoope details, “I’m from a small little city that they fly through but never fly to. I’ve played the keys since I could walk, so producing music was a natural progression… I just want to make art that gives people hope in this crazy world.”
And the video to “Lambo” does just that.
