Statik KXNG is a bi-coastal, musical pick and roll, with Crooked playing Magic and Statik playing Bird and “Lets Go” featuring Termanology is another standout that encapsulates the chemistry and artistry demonstrated on Statik KXNG, as Crooked drops gun bars over Statik’s tribal drums and haunting chanting. Crooked divulges a little about his mind state on “Lets Go”---“I was pissed about something I can't remember now. So anyway, I got drunk and pulled up a crazy beat Statik did and freestyled for 10-minutes; we ended up having to cut a lot of good stuff out., but I do that sometimes!” |
