| New Orleans bred rapper, Dee-1, makes his official RCA Records debut with the digital release of his song, "Against Us". The uptempo Rico Beats-produced message-driven record is the facile anthem so desperately missing from today's music scene. Dee-1 addresses the song by saying, "It symbolizes the war against negativity. I've been blessed with so many dope opportunities, this is the triumph, this is the victory. Moving forward, I'm only motivated to continue being the best artist I possibly can be." -- "Against Us" was premiered by Hip Hop Wired and serves as the first official single from Dee-1's forthcoming EP, slated to release at the top of 2015. In conjunction with the new song, Dee-1 will be appearing in the 2014 BET Hip Hop Awards' Cypher, which premieres tonight (October 14th) at 8:00 pm EST on BET.
